Anniversary 6 year old Ana Clara
Time flies and children grow very fast…
It seems it was yesterday I organized Clarinha’s 3rd year anniversary and now is already time for her 6th anniversary!
At 6 one already has defined styles and I thought it was a good idea to let her decide the party’s theme. As everyone her age are crazy for princesses her choice was Frozen.
So, I created the decoration project and design the perfect logistic suitable for her age.
Everything was thought out more than one year in advance. The first step to organize any event is the financial plan. Since I don’t organize a party for my daughter every year, I was able to save for all the expenses for this party.
The second step was to chose a place that matched my objectives. I wanted an indoor place in case it rained, safe, cute, with animation and some educational activities and above all with good energy. It was not an easy task because in Lagos there are not so many options for children parties. To find one that matched all my requirements it would take a miracle. Fortunately I am a blessed person and manage to find Joana and Nuno’s place, which is even called Até à Lua.
The third step was to design the decoration project and to think about invitations, labels for the souvenirs, flags, menus etc.
The fourth step is to chose the type of cake and also decide what will be the food and drinks and what would suitable quantities be.
The fifth step is to select quality suppliers to be part of the project: photographer, cake designer, food, souvenirs…
Ufa, a lot of details are involved in the organization of an event, even if it is a children’s party. It is a lot of work!
The party went exactly as I have imagine it: many children, history, facial painting, fun games and the friends together made a present for Ana Clara and there was even a violin performance from my daughter to her dearest friends.
And the best of all, it was a sunny day!
We love it!
And her friends feedback was very positive with many compliments to the party! Children are always so genuine and sincere!
