Anniversary Ana Clara
Hello my dear and loving readers!
Today’s post is very, really very special because I will tell you all the details about the organization and how it was to create from scratch the decoration project for my princess Clarinha’s 3rd year anniversary party!
Do Pedido ao Altar 2014 events calendar opened with a bang and for luck it had to be with the daughter’s birthday party.
The party’s theme was Enchanted Garden chosen last year when I decided I was going to make a 3rd anniversary party for my loving C. The colors could not have been any other, as they are my favorite colors since I am a child and they were also my wedding colors.
Why Enchanted Garden? When organizing children parties I always like to chose theme that match the child personality and since Clarinha is calm, giving and very sweet I thought this theme would match with her perfectly.
My sweet Clarinha has her birthday in a very special date in Portugal March 19th. In this day in Portugal we also celebrate father’s day and also S. Joseph. However, since the exact day would be on a weekday this year, I decided to organize the party on Sunday March 23rd so more people could attend. It was a beautiful sunny day as you can see from the images.
Regarding the space for the party I wanted to be a place that was not only suitable with the theme but also it had enough space for children to run around and have the contact with nature. Fortunately, I found exactly what I had imagine! I was very happy with the atmosphere, beauty and cleanness of the venue. Mr. Chico, the owner was a very pleasant and available person. I recommend
I designed the full decoration of the even. each detail was thought out with a lot of love. Everything should represent the delicateness and sweetness of my dearest Ana Clara. I am sure I manage to achieve that goal and I was very happy with the romantic side of the decor!:) The cookie characters were part of the decoration as well as the custom paper effetcs that I manage to bring from Rio de Janeiro when visited my mother.
And now I will write a bit about my choice of suppliers. Since I was the decorator, the first professional I hired was the photographer. I wanted someone that was good with children and at the same time someone I could feel empathy with and admire the work. That professional was my dearest friend Suzy Vieira and I can say with conviction that was an excellent choice because I love the result. Recommend!
The second professional I hired was the animator. The sweet Joana chose the fairy custom to match the theme!Loved it!!!
The third and last was the talented Helga Francisco, manager at “Dá Pena Comer”, which supplied the cake and all the sweets of the party apart from the bigadeiros e beijinhos which I made myself cince Brazilian sweets were a must at the party for obvious reasons, right??? hehehehehehe…..
I also did the salty items so I could present the family my Chef skills. Without modesty I have to say they were a success! 😉
I think that is it, and here are the photos:
Did you like Clarinha’s Enchanted garden?
See you next time…
